The Good, Bad, Ugly and Beautiful of Artificial Intelligence

With all the hype recently about ChatGPT, Co-Counsel, and similiar AI software being used within the legal industry, Trustpoint.One has gathered a panel of experts to lead a discussion about AI. Joining the panel will be Jerry McIver, Zac Willinbrink, David Konkel, Jimmy Nguyen and moderated by Kat Trago.

David Konkel is a shareholder in Godfrey & Kahn's Litigation Practice Group in the Milwaukee office. David represents a broad range of clients in a variety of complex commercial disputes.

Zach Willenbrink is an attorney in Godfrey & Kahn’s Litigation and Data Privacy & Cybersecurity Practice Groups. Zach prepares clients for and guides them through responding to cybersecurity incidents. He also helps clients navigate disputes and litigation involving data and technology. He is CIPP/US, CIPM, and CC certified.

Jerry McIver is the Director of Trustpoint Cyber Services where he helps clients from all industries in information governance and data privacy. He assists organizations in data discovery to comply with data privacy regulations and achieve information governance objectives. Jerry also serves as the Data Privacy Officer for Trustpoint.One, where he supports and maintains the organization’s data privacy program. Jerry has a collective 20 years of experience supporting organizations with information governance, compliance, legal, cyber, and data privacy needs. Jerry is a Florida-barred attorney and previously served as a HIPAA Compliance Officer for a local health network and acted as the systems analyst and database administrator. He holds the CIPP/US and CIPM certifications and is a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals. He currently resides in Gainesville, Florida.

Jimmy Nguyen is an AI and eDiscovery Consultant with Trustpoint.one. Jimmy is a technologist, specializing in Artificial Intelligence, Automation, and Data Science. With over a decade of experience under his belt, he has become an industry expert in developing AI-driven solutions that fuel business growth and optimize operational efficiency. His work in eDiscovery and key leadership roles in innovation have allowed him to hone his skills and contribute to a wide array of groundbreaking projects.

Kat Trago. After practicing as a litigator in Wisconsin, Kat joined LexisNexis in 2008 and soon transitioned from case and code to specializing on litigation tools, predominantly focused on eDiscovery. Kat has now spent almost 15 years working with litigation teams and eDiscovery software throughout the Midwest. In 2017, Kat joined Special Counsel which expanded her ability to serve customers beyond software to include expert services and evolve her role from a vendor to a partner. Kat is delighted to continue these efforts with Trustpoint.one as they continue to offer excellent services and hosting options for my customers. Partnering with clients fuels my motivation to continue to learn, grow and network in the ever-evolving eDiscovery landscape. As the founder and President of the Wisconsin ACEDS chapter, Kat aims to create a strong network of talented people working in eDiscovery across the state who can help one another and challenge the status quo of eDiscovery practice in our state.
