How to Scope Forensic Collections

Presentation Overview:

When an employee is placed on legal hold, the prospect of collecting professional and personal data is daunting. Data evidence can take on many forms including mobile devices, smart watches, cloud-based platforms, laptops and social media. How does the attorney educate the employee/custodian on what information is collected while getting all the necessary information to collect the data? The goal of this mini forensic workshop is to understand the different types of collection methods for mobile device and social media, how to adequately scope for information to be provided to the forensic business partner and talking points to share with the client. Drinks and light appetizers will be provided by AlixPartners.
