Hello Members!
It's hard to believe that we are coming up on our chapter's annual elections on Tuesday, 6/11 at WilmerHale, 950 Page Mill Rd, Palo Alto, CA 94304 (social time begins at 11:30AM with the formal meeting running from noon-1PM). Lunch for the meeting will be provided by our gracious sponsor Inventus.
We will also raffle off a $100 Macy's gift certificate to active members who are present.
The following are the open positions for the 2019/2020 (please note we have a member running for each position):
Chapter Director
Chapter Assistant Director
Chapter Meetings Director
Chapter Secretary
Chapter Membership Director
Descriptions of each position are enclosed. All nomination forms are due by Saturday, June 1. A biography for each candidate is due by Tuesday, June 4 to siliconvalley@womeninediscovery.org. Each candidate will be providing a 3 to 5 minute speech at our June 11 meeting to share why they are running for the particular board position. You must be a current member of the Silicon Valley Chapter to vote. We will also be voting on future topics for our meetings (list will be provided at the meeting).
The last half of the meeting we will show a 10-15 minute slideshow/movie of a “Year in Review” of events throughout the year.
