Presentation Overview for February - Using the EDRM workflow and the PMP methodology, we will illustrate how project management can improve your e-Discovery project. We will also distinguish between what is unique in your e-Discovery project, what is process and why that is important. Finally, we will talk about some simple tools and techniques that will help you harness these methodologies.

Speaker:

Michael Collins, MBA, PMP, CEDS, RCA

Senior e-Discovery Consultant

Parcels, Inc.

Integrating Project Management into e-Discovery has been promised for decades, but the legal community does not always fit neatly into its formal structure. Is all lost for a detailed-oriented e-Discovery project manager? No, and new developments in Project Management help recognize the need for industry flexibility. Mike Collins has been chasing the white whale of e-Discovery project management for two decades and during that time he helped to develop e-Discovery groups at firms like Patterson Belknap, Proskauer Rose, Richards Layton and more recently, Parcels, Inc.
