Please join the Iowa Chapter of Women in eDiscovery for our January meeting. Note, this meeting was previously scheduled for the 3rd Thursday of the month, but now will be held the following week on Thursday January 24th.
Chapter Board Elections will take place followed by a Round Table discussion regarding members most wanted and useful topics for 2019 meetings, including but not limited to:
Moving to the cloud;
Evaluating new ESI platforms;
Vetting service-providers;
Client billing practices and cost-recovery strategies for eDiscovery projects;
Working with Citrix and issues when using with review platforms;
Internal eDiscovery workflows including:
Task distribution across IT staff and paralegals/admins from data intake, loading and production; also Retention of database projects, and archival or deletion of same;
New eDiscovery best practice resources.
Group meetings will be held at the regular Des Moines and Cedar Rapids locations with an available teleconference and WebEx connection. You must be present at either location in order to participate in elections.
