Hello WiE Indianapolis members,
Elections will be held at the September 21 chapter meeting for the board for the 2018/2019 term. Nominations are due by September 11. See below for additional information. Currently there are no candidates for membership director, and one candidate each for the other four board positions.
In addition to the elections, the September meeting will feature a guest speaker. Renee Harness will present on cultivating leadership skills. As always, the event is free, lunch will be provided and guests are welcome (RSVP link). We hope to see you there!

Hello WiE Indianapolis members!
It's hard to believe that we are coming up on our chapter's second year. My fellow board members and I have had a great time serving on the Board and would like to sincerely thank all of our members, sponsors, speakers and hosts for participating and supporting our meetings!
If you have enjoyed being a member and attending our meetings, please consider running for a position at our next regular chapter meeting on September 21.
The open positions for the 2018/2019 term are:
● Chapter Director
● Chapter Assistant Director
● Chapter Secretary
● Chapter Membership Director
● Chapter Meetings Director
Exhibit 6 attached is a full description of the positions. If you are interested in running for the board, please send an email to Indianapolis@Womeninediscovery.org with the position you'd like to run for and a short bio. You may also nominate someone else. Each candidate will be asked to give a brief speech at our September 21 meeting to share why they are running.
Please note that in accordance with the WiE Policies and Procedures, you are permitted to run for only one position, you must be present on election day to remain on the ballot and members must be present to vote. Deadline for nominations is 10 days prior to the chapter election (September 11).
