Join Women in eDiscovery at Green Espel to prepare Blessing Bags to hand out to the residents at YouthLink.
YouthLink serves youth from 16-23 years old, from all backgrounds, races and genders.
They recognize that homelessness is not a final destination. YouthLink connects youth to a community of resources and help them to discover pathways that get them where they want to go.
The blessing bags will have items like socks, toothpaste, deodorant, body wash, snacks and other essentials, which MPLS WiE will be purchasing.
You are also welcome to donate unused hygiene items and other essentials that could go in the blessing bags.
Examples of items to donate:
Feminine care products (most important)
Thermal or Wools socks (most important to protect a primary form of transportation)
Lotion
Sunscreen
EmergenC, Airborne, chewable multivitamins
Layering gloves, scarves, hats
Bandaids (large ones to cover blisters)
Wet wipes (Not soap or shampoo, though travel size conditioner is nice)
Sewing kit
Beef jerky
Breakfast bars
Chocolate
