Each year in August, Women in eDiscovery, other non-profits and businesses alike dedicate a couple hours of their day to volunteer and support Operation Backpack. This is a wonderful cause that allows New York City’s homeless children to have the materials and confidence for the going back to school!
We have two volunteer dates: August 8th and August 14th
There are so many ways to get involved:
FUNDRAISE – Spread the work or build a team to reach a goal! Donate here: https://lnkd.in/dhy4Dw7
ORGANIZE – Hold a drive at the office to collect backpacks and supplies to donate to this cause.
FILL A BACKPACK – Download our grade-specific supply listand fill a new backpack with required school supplies. Drop your donation at any of our public drop locations in New York City and New Jersey.
BE SOCIAL – Follow Volunteers of America-Greater New York on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram, and use the hashtag #OperationBackpackNYC.
