Put on some comfy clothes, make a beverage of your choice and join the DC Chapter of Women in EDiscovery for an interactive conversation on balancing work and life during a pandemic. Working from home for an extended time brings new challenges and stress. We may be playing multiple roles as mother, daughter, coworker, teacher, chef and caretaker. Negotiating all of these roles while working effectively during a pandemic is daunting. For our next Social Hour, we will be joined by three panelists who will impart tips and advice on how to manage our new expectations. Dr. Susan Trachman will share her expertise in facing fear and anxiety and methods to cope. Anne Collier will provide helpful tips for staying positive and productive during the pandemic. Cara Anderson will explain the different aspects of wellness, meal planning and exercise that are all manageable. The last 15 minutes, Cara will demonstrate a simple yoga stretch and exercise that is easy to replicate and implement into your daily schedule.
Panelists:
Dr. Susan Trachman – Forensic Psychiatrist; Assocaite Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at Georgetown Medical Center
Anne Collier – CEO at Arudia
Cara Anderson – Nutrition/Wellness Professional & Litigation Paralegal at Marriott International
