Refresher Course: eDiscovery 101

Featuring Maggie Burtoft, Christina Dimaggio and Sarah Bennington

Maggie Burtoft is a Solutions Advisor at ProSearch. Maggie is a California-licensed attorney with more than 10 years of experience in eDiscovery with a focus on advanced analytics and expertise in complex Technology Assisted Review workflows. Maggie utilizes technology and intelligent workflows to maximize review efficiency and provide auditable, defensible solutions for review reduction.

Christina Dimaggio is a Litigation Paralegal at Perkins Coie LLP where she works with the Product Liability practice group. Christina is a certified eDiscovery specialist with ACEDS and previously served as the Meetings Director for the San Diego Chapter of Women in eDiscovery. Christina has over 10 years of eDiscovery experience and has worked with case teams on matters of all sizes through the various phases of the EDRM. Christina received a B.A. in Biology from the University of California, Riverside and a Paralegal Certificate from the University of San Diego.

Sarah Bennington is Senior Legal Counsel for Qualcomm’s Discovery Management Organization, a team of legal and project management professionals who support Qualcomm’s litigation and investigations by developing and executing the company’s discovery strategy. Prior to joining Qualcomm, Sarah was an attorney in Jones Day’s IP litigation practice group. Sarah received a B.A. in Communication and Psychology at the University of California, Santa Barbara, and a J.D. from the University of California, Irvine School of Law.
