eDiscovery in Transition:
From Pre “e” And Beyond
In partnership with ACEDS-Houston Chapter
Women in eDiscovery (WiE), Houston Chapter – A consortium of professionals dedicated to legal technology educational opportunities for women join forces with ACEDS-Houston Chapter and legal technology sponsors for their 4th annual event, WiE Houston’s “eDiscovery in Transition: From Pre “e” And Beyond Virtual Conference” to be held on Thursday, November 12, 2020.
The WiE conference, celebrated for the last four years, transforms to a virtual event in 2020 for the first time, while following the existing blueprint to achieve the success and growth of past conferences. WiE values the importance of corporate learning in the evolution of women in legal technology and more than ever while the legal field transitions to a highly technical and automated service. This half-day virtual conference evidences the importance of corporate learning in the evolution of technology from the “never evers” to the new normal including Work From Home (WFH), virtual courtrooms and many other emerging technologies.
The Houston WiE Chapter attributes the success of the event to a local interest in networking and collaboration for the purpose of developing thought leadership. This virtual forum connects innovative technology providers, practitioners, and legal support staff to explore trending eDiscovery and legal tech solutions and the transitions experienced throughout the years, from before the “e” and beyond.
The Houston WiE Chapter gratefully offers #WiE2020andBeyond to attendees without a fee thanks to the support of our generous sponsors. #WiE2020andBeyond welcomes anyone with interest in learning about legal technologies supporting the preservation, identification, collection, processing, review, production and presentation of electronic evidence as experienced throughout the years since inception to 2020 and beyond.
Conference attendees can expect two panel discussions presented by leaders in legal technology, highly recognized eDiscovery related certifications prizes, and a virtual post-event happy hour. A full list of the speakers from top corporations, law firms, the bench and technology providers will be announced in the coming weeks.
