This is an Open Level Pilates Mat class available to all ages and abilities. It will challenge and change your body. My Aim is to make Pilates an integral part of your healthy lifestyle that will continue to inspire and support overall good health and wellbeing. Pilates is a full body workout addressing the synchrony of the mind, body, and spirit for the purpose of acquiring complete control over your own body. The Pilates method adheres to the safe progression of physical fitness development: stabilization and centration of the joint, followed by muscular endurance, range of motion, strength, culminating with dynamic movement. Through working with me doing the Pilates method you will find the most dynamic and functional everyday athlete within yourself.
I am a fitness professional that has been working in the industry for over 11 years. I am based in New York City and I primarily use the Pilates Method to advocate for health and wellness. I formulate a plan to achieve each client's greatest results and reach their goals physically, mentally and emotionally for long lasting results. My aim is to make Pilates an integral part of a healthy lifestyle that will continue to inspire and support overall wellbeing and inspire people to find the everyday athlete within themselves. Fitness and an active lifestyle have been instilled in since birth. I come from a family of Figure Skaters, myself included. I spent many years dancing and have a BFA in Modern Dance. I also love biking, golfing, tennis and I am learning to like running again.
