WiE Chicago Chapter January Luncheon

Join us as we kick off 2020 with a chapter luncheon. Debbie Reynolds is our guest speaker this month, discussing how CCPA and GDPR are impacting eDiscovery. As always, networking and lunch start at 11:30, followed by the presentation from 12:00 - 1:00.

Presentation details:
The impact of GDPR, CCPA, and Global Data Privacy developments on eDiscovery
Data Privacy and Data Protection are hot topics in mainstream media now due to data privacy laws like the 2018 GDPR in the EU and the 2020 CCPA in the state of California in the US. However, how do these laws impact the eDiscovery industry? We will explore the parallel concepts between eDiscovery and data privacy and also explore ways in which knowledge of data privacy can elevate careers of eDiscovery professionals.

Speaker: Debbie Reynolds
