Please join us for a WiE Volunteer Event with Cradles to Crayons!

Tuesday, September 17th from 5:30-8:00pm at our 4700 Wissahickon Ave, Philadelphia Giving Factory.

Arrival and Food: Please arrive at 5:30pm for pizza and subs. If you do not plan on joining us for dinner, please arrive at 5:45pm.

The volunteer event will begin at 6:00pm.

Please read the event details below:

What to wear: Closed-toed shoes will be required for safety purposes. It is recommended to wear comfortable clothing.

Here are some of the hands-on Volunteer Work Stations we may be participating in:

Inspecting and pairing shoe donations
Sorting and inspecting toys such as:
- Counting puzzle pieces
- Matching dolls with outfits
- Inspecting for batteries and matching other toys
Inspecting and sorting books in the library
Sorting clothing for quality, size, season, and gender
Packing items based on individual children’s needs
Other general sorting of baby and general items
