Women in eDiscovery is proud to partner with Girls in Tech to support young girls in pursuing careers in technology, through financial contributions and mentorship. Women in eDiscovery's Charity + Social Committees invite you to celebrate this wonderful organization at its inaugural Charity Benefit on Monday, August 27th at 6:00 p.m. at the University Club Atop Symphony Towers.
About Girls in Tech
Girls in Tech is a global, non-profit focused on education, engagement, and empowerment of girls who are passionate about technology. The organization was founded in 2007 to create a support framework to help women advance their careers in STEM fields. It has more than 100,000 members. GIT relies on volunteer efforts to lead its 60 chapters. GIT has a mentorship program that focuses on demonstrating the organization's focus areas of education, engagement, and empowerment. The mentorship program has three groups: Professional Women, University-aged Women, and Next Generation Girls.
Women in eDiscovery encourages attendees to provide a donation directly to Girls In Tech through its website. Donations are used by the organization to provide scholarship opportunities to young girls for coding camps, education conferences, and other educational opportunities.
