"So Now What? A Strategic Approach to Post-Litigation Data Remediation"
Eat more vegetables...use your gym membership...expand your information management tool box. Now more than ever, attorneys and in-house counsel are familiar with the process of preserving, collecting and producing data in the context of discovery. But what do you do with the data after litigation has concluded? This presentation will explore a practical, scalable approach to post-litigation data remediation. Topics discussed include scoping and risk assessment, identifying and addressing surviving preservation obligations and opportunities to leverage technology. This year, clean out your closet and clean up your data.
Jessica Schmidt is an Attorney with DLA Piper. Jessica focuses her practice on information governance, particularly litigation preparedness, records and information management (RIM), privacy and e-discovery.
