Award Nominations

Welcome to the WiECON25 Awards nominations!! The WiE community is like no other and is excited to recognize and celebrate WiE individuals and entities who have dedicated themselves to making an impact in the eDiscovery, legal, and technology industries.

The WiECON25 Conference will be held in Chicago on May 12 – 14, 2025. Awards will be handed out at the WiECON 2025 Awards Gala on Tuesday, May 13th.  Winners do not have to be present.

Visionary Trailblazer Award

The Visionary Trailblazer Award recognizes the woman who challenges the status quo. She is a pioneer - creating new ideas, innovating processes, and redefining how legal technology is used, and how eDiscovery operates.  This award celebrates the bold thinker who pushes boundaries and envision the future of our industry, leading us into the next era of legal technology and eDiscovery.

Guiding Light/Leadership & Mentorship Award

The Guiding Light/Leadership & Mentorship Award honors the woman whose guidance is invaluable. She is a trusted mentor, providing insight, encouragement, and a safe space for others to grow.  Through her leadership, she uplifts and empower those around her offering support wisdom and unwavering encouragement that helps shape the next generation of eDiscovery professionals.

Legacy Award

The Legacy Award is given to the woman who has dedicated her career to advancing eDiscovery. She is a trailblazer whose impact is undeniable - her name is synonymous with the industry and her contributions have shaped its evolution. She is a mentor, a leader, and an icon, leaving an indelible mark on eDiscovery for years to come. 

WiE Community Champion Award

The WiE Community Champion Award recognizes the woman who has given back through education, mentorship, and charitable work. She embodies the spirit of the community, using her time, expertise and passion to uplift others and create opportunities for women in a discovery. Her dedication to fostering growth and inclusivity within the WiE network has left a lasting impact.

Rising Star Award

The Rising Star Award recognizes a dynamic and promising new voice in legal tech and eDiscovery. She is the next generation leader, bringing fresh perspectives, innovative ideas, and a bold vision for the future. In a short time, she has already made waves, redefining industry, norms, and inspiring those around her.

Catalyst for Change Award

The Catalyst for Change Award recognizes a sponsor that has gone above and beyond and supporting Women in eDiscovery's mission.  As a volunteer driven organization, WiE has thrived, thanks to the unwavering support of sponsors who champion our cause. This award honors a sponsor that is actively contributed to the growth and empowerment and success of Women in eDiscovery through funding, mentorship advocacy, and/or partnership.

DEI Champion Award

The DEI Champion Award recognizes a woman who actively advocates for diversity, equity and inclusion in the eDiscovery industry. She ensures that women have a seat at the table in decision-making spaces, shines a light on systematic barriers and hold organizations accountable for fostering inclusive workspace. Through her efforts she is shaping a more inclusive and equitable future for all.

WiE Chapter of the Year Award

The WiE Chapter of the Year Award, celebrates excellence and stand out achievement within the WiE network over the past year. Each year, our chapters provide exceptional programming, education, and networking opportunities both in person and virtually. This award recognizes the chapter that has demonstrated outstanding leadership engagement and innovation in serving its members and the broader WiE Community.
